DESCRIPTION:

This original work by Ralf Altrieth unfolds a universe where human figures, gazes, animals and signs seem to emerge spontaneously before blending back into the composition. Each element appears as an obvious fact, with no imposed narrative, leaving viewers the freedom to project their own story onto it.

The gesture is direct, lively, unadorned. The broad flat areas dialogue with straight lines, assertive contours and richly textured painting material that give the whole an immediately perceptible energy. The colors oscillate between softness and intensity, creating a singular balance where tension, humor, fragility and poetry coexist naturally.
