* Melcher P. Fobes (1911-1995) was professor emeritus and chairman of The Department of Mathematics at The College of Wooster, Wooster (Ohio/USA). He was a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for at least 25 years.
* Ruth B. Smith was an associate professor of Mathematics at the College of Wooster (Ohio/USA).
