Ivo Hauptmann, Lovis Corinthin yksityisoppilas, oli merkittävä saksalainen taiteilija ja vedostaja (1886–1973), tunnettu pääasiassa teoksistaan impressionismin ja ekspressionismin piirissä. Hän oli avainjäsen erilaisten tärkeiden avantgarde-ryhmien, kuten Berliinin Free Secessionin (1914) ja Hampurin Secessionin (1919), perustamisessa.
