A beautiful Turkish Kayseri silk on silk prayer rug. This rug was made in the renowned Turkish city of Kayseri, known for high quality silk rugs.
This vintage rug features a classical medallion design. Great for adorning chairs, sofas, hallways, beds and more.
These silk rugs are tightly woven with a high knot count 36 knots per square centimeter, 360,000 knots per square meter. The silk glows in the light and has a unique appearance from every angle. The fringe ends are classic kilim ends.
Condition: In good condition for its age, with some signs of usage.
Age: Approximately 50 years.
