Condition Reports:

Original dark blue cloth with striking gilt titles and intricate decorations on the spine and upper cover; illustrated endpapers.
Complete with 16 tipped-in colour plates mounted on thick grey paper, all protected by original tissue guards and 20 detailed line drawings and numerous text decorations throughout.

A nice, bright copy overall. The binding retains sharp gilt and strong shelf presence.
Internally largely clean, with heavy foxing present around the page edges, as is common for this paper stock. Plates remain vivid and unaffected.
