Horst P. Horst (1906–1999) was one of the most influential fashion photographers of the 20th century. Born in Germany, he moved to Paris in the early 1930s, where he worked with photographer George Hoyningen-Huene before joining French Vogue. Renowned for his masterful use of light, classical composition, and timeless elegance, Horst photographed leading figures in fashion, art, and society, including Coco Chanel, Marlene Dietrich, and Salvador Dalí. His work is held in major museum collections worldwide, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the J. Paul Getty Museum.
