The Konica S (1959) is a solidly built coupled-rangefinder camera from Konishiroku, one of Japan's oldest photographic firms. Its fast Hexanon 48mm f/2 lens is highly regarded — Hexanon optics have long had a reputation for sharpness and pleasing rendering — and the camera is operated entirely manually, with a selenium meter providing a reading the photographer transfers to the lens. Well-finished and satisfying to handle, it is an appealing choice for a film shooter who works with an external meter or by experience.

Please note the selenium light meter responds but its behaviour is unstable. The rangefinder is clear and adjusted, the optics have been cleaned and the body covering has been renewed. Please review the photos before bidding.
