JonOne – Time is now – 2026
Original silkcreen print by JonOne, created in 2 color passes with ink enriched with real silver powder, on Keaykolour 250 g paper.
Format 50 × 70 cm.
Edition limited to only 60 copies, numbered and hand-signed by the artist.
With Time is Now, JonOne offers a particularly intense graphic composition, built around a powerful contrast between the deep black background and the silver traces. His instinctive handwriting almost completely invades the surface, mixing quick gestures, superpositions and drips into a raw yet perfectly controlled whole.
The peculiarity of this edition lies in the use of ink enriched with real silver powder. This gives the tracings brightness and metallic reflections that evolve with light and give the work a particularly strong presence.
Originating from the New York graffiti scene, JonOne has developed a pictorial language immediately identifiable, in which the letter and the signature progressively become abstraction. Time is Now fully illustrates this approach, with a dense and spontaneous composition that preserves all the energy of graffiti.
With its particularly limited print run of 60 copies, its format of 50 × 70 cm and the use of real silver powder, this silkscreen constitutes a very beautiful edition of JonOne, as spectacular as it is representative of his artistic universe.
Artwork in perfect condition having never been framed, kept flat.
We ensure meticulous packaging, international tracking, insurance, and express shipping for all our deliveries. The numbering may differ from the photos.
Biography: JonOne (Franco-American, born 1963 in New York), famous for works influenced by graffiti, was born in the Harlem district, where the art of colorful and elaborate graffiti evolves. At 17 he begins creating graffiti of his name with a childhood friend. In 1984, he founded the Graffiti 156 All Starz collective to bring together graffiti artists’ passion.
After moving to Paris in 1987, he began working as a canvas painter in a studio. He quickly made a name for himself in Parisian artistic circles with his paintings, was exhibited in 1990 at Gallery 45 in Berlin and participated in the Graffiti Paris exhibition, where his work is presented permanently. His works are among the most significant auctioned items in the graffiti world.
