About the artist: Krum Stanoev is a Bulgarian artist based in Spain. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the faculty “Nikolai Pavlovich” (Sofia, Bulgaria) in 1990, in the etching specialization. He has had a broad artistic career, traversing different manifestations—from painting and engraving to sculpture, which has dominated his artistic production in recent years. His most recent sculptural work has focused on laser-cut metal with different finishes. This way of working metal gives his work great lightness and allows him to play with contents, giving it a density of meaning that makes us perceive the object as a sculptural poem. He has participated in numerous art fairs such as: Estampa. FLECHA, Art Madrid, Affordable Art Fair among others. To date, he has 19 solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Spain and abroad.
