Myyjän antama kuvaus
Elegantti ja erittäin koristeellinen antiikkinen viktoriaaninen/Art Nouveau -tyylinen neljän sarakkeen kaasulämmittäjä, jonka ajoitus on noin 1890–1910.
Tämä harvinainen kotitalouslämmityskeitin features striking dual-tone aesthetic: kontrastinen musta pystysuuntainen lämmityscylinders paired with richly detailed gilt/bronze-finished cast iron base, ornate claw-style feet, and a heavy matching top canopy.
Each of the four columns is embellished with ornate brass-toned framed inserts featuring decorative textured panels (designed to glow with ambient light when lit). The base features intricate scrollwork and retains its original side gas valve and control key.
Heaters of this style were manufactured by premium late-Victorian and early Edwardian makers (such as W.M. Crane / Vulcan, Cleveland Foundry Co. / Puritan, or European manufacturers like Falks and Valor). Today, these pieces are highly sought-after for interior design, industrial decor, or antique restoration.
Design Features:
4-column design with lattice cross-ventilation cutouts at the top.
Gold/bronze-patinated cast iron base and top frame with elaborate floral and scroll motif ornamentations.
Original gas shut-off valve/key attached at the side.
Four ornate feet supporting the structure.
Condition Report:
Overall Condition: Good antique condition consistent with age (approx. 115–135 years old).
Structure: Complete structure with original frame, feet, and decorative column inserts.
Finish: Beautiful authentic patina with minor age-related wear, oxidation, and light surface marks that enhance its character.
Functionality: Sold as a historical collectors' piece and decorative item. Gas functionality has not been tested; professional inspection/restoration is recommended prior to any operational gas connection.
Dimensions:
Width: 45 cm;
Depth: 20 cm;
Height: 80 cm.
