Haluya Yoshida

Syntynyt Kanagawan prefectuurissa, Japanissa.
1998 valmistui Tokyo University of the Artsin keramiikkataiteen osastolta.
2000 suoritti saman yliopiston maisteriopintojen ohjelman.
2008 Rakensi tulisijan (kerosiinitulipesä) Kawasaki Cityssä, Kanagawa Prefektuurissa.

Taiteellinen Konsepti
Taiteilijan työ alkaa perinteisten japanilaisten keramiikkatekniikoiden ja -materiaalien tutkimisesta, jotka ilmentyvät sitten nykyaikaisella tyylillä.
Hänellä on ainutlaatuiset lasitteet—kehitetty intensiivisen tutkimuksen perusteella erilaisten mineraaliraaka-aineiden yhdistelmästä ja korkealämpötilaisesta polttamisesta—ja ne tuottavat poikkeuksellisen eloisia värejä, jotka ovat hänen työnsä tunnusmerkki.
Hänen luovan teemansa ytimessä on ajatus siitä, että tavallisen arjen rikkauden täysi arvostaminen ja iloinen elämä ovat saavuttamisen arvoisia.
Hän pyrkii palauttamaan ja uudelleen määrittelemään kulttuuria luomalla ainutlaatuisen fuusion japanilaisista keramiikkaperinteistä, globaaleista taiteista ja pop-taiteesta.
Hän käyttää kahta signeerauksen tyyppiä: "Haluya" (käsin kirjoitettu) ja "HAL" (levytetyn tai leiman kautta laitettu).
