ABOUT THE ARTIST
Oliveiros Junior, aka UTOPIA, is a Brazilian self-taught visual artist born in São Paulo. He started his graffiti journey in 1996, at the age of 13, through the hip-hop and graffiti movement of São Paulo.
Over the years, his practice has evolved into a contemporary mixed-media language, combining graffiti, spray paint, acrylic, graphite and different materials. His work has been presented in exhibitions, festivals and artistic projects internationally.
UTOPIA currently lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal, continuing to develop his studio practice, murals and contemporary artworks.
