The Chinon 35F-EE is a late-1970s compact 35mm camera with a built-in automatic flash, a Chinonex Color 38mm f/2.8 lens and programmed EE (electric eye) automatic exposure. Chinon of Nagano built a long line of dependable, affordable cameras of this type, and the 35F-EE is a simple zone-focus point-and-shoot that makes an easy, pocketable companion for modern film.

The flash-ready lamp does not light, although the flash fires. Please review the photos and consider this before bidding.

Optical Condition
Finder: Cleaned internally — clear
Lens / Sensor: Clear — no haze or fungus.

Functional
The camera operates properly — shutter, film transport and meter all work. The meter measured about +0.4 EV at EV12 and +0.1 EV at EV15 (accurate). Batteries are required.
The built-in flash fires, but the flash-ready lamp does not light — see Known Issues.
The light seals have been replaced and the viewfinder cleaned internally.

Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 0.4 OVER / EV15: 0.1 OVER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.

Servicing
This camera was serviced by us before listing:
- Light seals (foam) replaced
- Viewfinder cleaned internally

Known Issues
1. The flash-ready (charge) lamp does not light. The flash itself fires; allow a few seconds for it to charge before shooting.

Shipping
We ship via either FedEx or Japan Post (ePacket), whichever suits the destination and the parcel. With Japan Post your package is handed over to the local postal carrier in your country for final delivery.
We only ship to registered addresses.
We ship within 3 business days after payment.

Customs and Taxes
Parcels are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): import VAT and any customs duties are collected by customs or the carrier on delivery, in accordance with the rules of the destination country.
Where import taxes have already been collected at checkout — for example under the EU IOSS scheme for orders up to EUR 150 — there is nothing further to pay on delivery.
