Hopea - Rintaneula - Art Deco 1930-luvut

A magnificent harmony of Art Deco geometry and historicist filigree, this vintage plaque brooch is crafted in solid 925 sterling silver with deep antique oxidation. The centerpiece features an elongated, cut-corner rectangular plaque of warm translucent carnelian agate with a smooth polished surface. Enclosing the gemstone is an ornate openwork gallery of scrolling volutes and milgrain arches lavishly pavé-set with shimmering pyrite marcasites. Secured at the reverse by a sturdy pin stem and rollover safety catch, the back of the pierced silver frame is stamped with a crisp 925 purity hallmark.
