Slasky - Enjoy

In Enjoy, l'artista italiano Slasky realizza un cortocircuito visivo di forte impatto, fondendo l'estetica della pittura classica con i simboli più pervasivi del consumismo contemporaneo.

L'opera si appropria di una complessa composizione figurativa dal sapore barocco e accademico, per poi profanarla e risemantizzarla attraverso il celebre logo rosso della Coca-Cola.
Questa sovrapposizione non è solo un gioco estetico, ma una riflessione critica sulla pervasività dei brand moderni, capaci di colonizzare lo spazio visivo e culturale fino a sovrascrivere la storia dell'arte stessa.Il contrasto tra la sacralità della tela antica e l'immediatezza della grafica pubblicitaria trasforma lo spettatore da semplice osservatore d'arte a consumatore, interrogandoci sul valore dell'opera d'arte nell'era della sua riproducibilità digitale e commerciale.

Slasky (b. 1972, Italy) is a self-taught artist working from Artena, Rome. His practice emerged from outside
the institutional art system — a background in manual labour that informs both the materiality of his work and
the precision of its conceptual framework. Active since 2015, he has built an independent market presence
across Europe and Asia before undertaking a decisive shift toward institutional research practice.
