This exceptional collection brings together four limited single cask rums from The Duchess, representing three distinctive rum-producing countries: Jamaica, Belize and Mauritius. Each expression was selected from an individual cask and bottled in very small quantities, with releases ranging from only 232 to 306 bottles worldwide.

The collection consists of the following four bottles:

The Duchess Jamaica – Worthy Park / Lluidas Vale – Cask No. 4
Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2018 after 12 years of maturation. Produced at the renowned Worthy Park Estate in Lluidas Vale, Jamaica, this single cask expression was bottled at 57.9% ABV. Drawn from Cask No. 4, the release was limited to only 268 bottles. The rum was bottled without additives or colouring and represents the characterful Jamaican pot-still style for which Worthy Park has become highly regarded.

The Duchess Belize – Travellers Distillery – Cask No. 14
Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2017 at 10 years of age. Produced at Travellers Distillery in Belize, this powerful single cask rum was bottled at an impressive 66.6% ABV. Drawn exclusively from Cask No. 14, the release comprises just 281 bottles and was produced as a joint bottling by The Duchess and Eiling Lim.

The Duchess Mauritius – Distillerie de Labourdonnais – Cask No. 7
Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2019 after 9 years of maturation, including approximately 7 years of tropical ageing in Mauritius. Produced at Distillerie de Labourdonnais and drawn exclusively from Cask No. 7, it was bottled at natural cask strength of 57.9% ABV. Only 306 bottles were produced, without additives or colouring.

The Duchess Belize – Travellers Distillery – Cask No. 6 – Tropical Reef Fish Series
Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2021 after an impressive 15 years of maturation, including approximately 8 years of tropical ageing. Produced at Travellers Distillery and bottled at 63.7% ABV, this single cask release from Cask No. 6 was limited to only 232 bottles. Presented as part of The Duchess’ distinctive Tropical Reef Fish Series, it was bottled without additives or colouring.

Together, these four bottles provide an excellent overview of The Duchess’ approach to independent rum bottling, combining mature spirit, high bottling strengths, individual cask selection and exceptionally small production runs. The collection is particularly interesting for the contrast between the powerful Jamaican character of Worthy Park, the two mature Belizean expressions from Travellers Distillery and the comparatively unusual Mauritian bottling from Distillerie de Labourdonnais.

All four bottles are in excellent condition, with very good fill levels, well-preserved labels and their original closures intact. The bottles have been carefully stored and are offered together as one lot, exactly as shown in the accompanying photographs.

With individual releases limited to only 232, 268, 281 and 306 bottles respectively, this is a rare opportunity to acquire four distinctive single cask releases from The Duchess in one collection. An excellent addition to any serious collection of independent and limited-edition Caribbean and Mauritian rum.
