Alex Tcacenco - Incognito #33 \Obscura Dominatio\

Obscura Dominatio ("Piilotettu käsky")

A stark wall, her form outlined in harsh lateral light.
The hat conceals her face; one hand lifts beneath its shadow.
The belt cinches — an emblem of restraint and intention.
Black and white renders all but the silent authority of her pose.

“Silentium imperat” — “Hiljaisuus käskee.”

Art photo direct from the artist made on Ilford galerie smooth pearl paper, 310gsm.
Ilford galerie smooth pearl paper looks between a gloss and matte.
The high-density, resin coated heavyweight base and smooth pearl finish eliminate glare and fingerprints.

A fiction of form — a dream born of algorithms and shaped by my will, like that of a creator.
This image has never existed, and yet it insists on its own meaning.
It exists in defiance — as a reflection of a dream, as an assertion of significance beyond matter.
