Pour toute une génération de joueurs, Chun-Li n’est pas seulement un personnage : c’est l’un des visages les plus emblématiques de l’histoire du jeu de combat.
With Chun-Li - Player One, SKE pays homage to the golden age of arcade halls and the Street Fighter universe, an essential reference in retro gaming from the 1990s. The composition places Chun-Li in the foreground, before an arcade cabinet in the midst of combat, as if the icon had stepped out of the screen to take control of the game itself.
Her instantly recognizable blue outfit, spiked bracelets, joystick, colorful buttons and the visible clash on the screen form a true concentrate of arcade culture. The black, white, red and blue backdrop, treated with projections, traces and graphic gestures, gives this video game imagery a more contemporary reading, somewhere between pop art and street art.
The piece’s interest lies precisely in this encounter: the cult iconography of video games becomes a work intended for the collector. It speaks to both Street Fighter and Chun-Li fans and to retro gaming, arcade cabinets and gaming culture collectors.
Printed on premium art paper Hahnemühle, the work is editioned to only 10 copies, each signed and hand-numbered by SKE and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity. Published by Atelier Montmartre Paris, it is sold unframed.

- ENCADERAUSSA OHJEET
Your masterpiece is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.
Upon receipt, remove it gently and lay flat for 48 to 72 hours to allow it to return to its natural shape before framing.
ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in hardware or decor stores.
Personally, I use aluminum Leroy Merlin frames: simple, elegant and economical, they showcase the works perfectly.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a French autodidact and versatile artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring the majority of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencils, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the Urban Master contest (2023) first prize, then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture work define a style now ubiquitous.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Artist rated & rewarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A WORLD BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while integrating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to remix the Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the mythical Game Boy universe, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), passing through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXE, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The symbol of the dollar sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is a vibrant art, with textured finishes that sometimes resemble the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
