Exceptional Historicist - Teesiivilä - noin 1870–1880

Epätavallisen hienosti ja rikkaasti työstetty historialistinen teesiivilä, jonka ajoitus on noin 1870–1880.
Suurikokoinen, 9 cm:n siivilä features an elaborate symmetrical openwork design with a central trophy medallion, sculptural floral details and a twisted outer border. The openwork floral handle is equally finely executed.
Silver-plated copper-based alloy, showing traces of traditional hand-working, including piercing, hammering/repoussé and chasing. The quality of execution is considerably above that of typical mass-produced silver-plated tableware of the period.
