I am selling an authentic collector's item (vintage traffic): Metal snuffbox with built-in gasoline lighter, made in the People's Republic of China in the 1960s-1970s.

It is an extremely popular export model during the Cold War era, preserved in very good visual condition. The piece is officially marked inside, under the flap, with the original factory stamp: "Double Deer Brand , produced by the famous Shanghai Lighter Factory

Double-Engraving Design (Oriental Symbolism):

Side A: A finely engraved bird, sitting on bamboo twigs, framed in a decorative serrated border.

Side B: Complex traditional scene with a spotted deer (symbol of prosperity and longevity), a flying crane and elements of nature.

Interior: Full book-style opening, equipped with both original metal arms (geometrically decorated spring clips) for perfect fixation of cigarettes. The interior is clean, without deep oxidation.

Lighter Mechanism: Operates on gasoline (classic system with cotton wool, wick and flint), being much more durable and reliable over time compared to gas models.

Product condition:

Aesthetics: Authentic vintage piece, shows a natural patina of time and fine traces of use on the chrome finish, which enhance its historical charm (according to the photos). The engravings and interior markings are perfectly visible and clear.
