Disney legend: Manuel Gonzales - A Little Help from Friends

A Little Help from Friends by Manuel Gonzales

Even the busiest chores can become a fairy tale with the right company.

Based on an original drawing by Manuel Gonzales, this charming print captures Snow White tidying the dwarfs’ cottage with an enthusiastic team of woodland helpers. As she sweeps the floor, rabbits, squirrels and birds lend a paw, a tail or a beak, turning housework into a scene filled with movement and gentle humour.

There is something to discover in every corner: animals tending to the dishes, squirrels carrying a stocking and rabbits busy cleaning the floor. The cottage’s rustic furnishings, hanging pans and crowded mantelpiece provide a wonderfully detailed setting for their shared endeavour.

Delicate pencil lines and soft shading give the artwork an intimate storybook quality. At its centre, Snow White’s gentle expression captures the kindness and warmth that make her friendship with the forest creatures so endearing.

A delightful addition for admirers of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, celebrating the simple magic of friendship and helping hands.
