At the foot of a grand marble staircase, a woman in a red satin dress descends alone, trailing her train behind her. Under a golden chandelier, the ball room hums: tuxedos, evening gowns and white gloves crowd around the wall lamps. She looks neither at the guests nor at the exit, only straight ahead.
The title suggests the end of the evening, but also entry into another story. It evokes the great Hollywood ball films and Fitzgerald, where the party is a theatre and each exit a choice. The red of the dress stands out from the brown and gold, like a decision made.
A threshold image, where the light of the room still waits for the one who is leaving.

Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, the United States.

Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary perspective to his creations by incorporating emblematic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vivid colors, dynamic shapes and expressive compositions.

The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on primed canvases, creating limited editions accessible to a broader audience.
