In 122 AD he started the construction of a new wall that would 'separate the barbarians from the Romans' in Britain. Despite the massacre during the second Roman-Jewish war (132-135 AD) he is still considered to be one of the 5 Good Emperors. His reign saw relative peace and his focus was mostly on culture. NIKE, the Greek goddess of victory embodied triumph in both war and competition. She was often shown with wings, a laurel wreath or a palm branch; symbols of glory and success. In Roman culture she was worshipped as Victoria, the divine power who granted military success and everlasting fame. Roman generals dedicated temples and altars to her, and her image was a favourite design on coins, celebrating victories across the Roman Empire.
