This sculpture has many different meanings, Growing up in the era of phone boxes & no mobile communication & seeing the rise in technology & the end of the Red telephone box, In this age even a baby could work a mobile device & the addictive Tech of phones and social media on an ever younger age. I took over 900 22ct Gold Sim Card chips to create the Skin scale effect then Lacquered with high shine enamel lacquer to look like a wet lizard type effect & the hand painted baby on a faded decaying phone box holding a smart phone & bag of sim card deals represents this. It comes in it's own protected display case 400mm x 400mm 5mm thick laser cut Pexi Glass & Wooden base (I CAN customise the base to any colour or Varnish / stain if the buyer would like). Signed and dated (Engraved) On the Polished Metal Plaque on the front of the piece. Will come with a hand signed certificate of Authenticity.
