In this lot: A beautiful Megalodon tooth from Sukabumi, Java, Indonesia. Size: 11 cm Quality: There are no repairs or restorations done on this piece! The tooth itself is completely intact. The serrations and tip are very sharp and have no chipping or other imperfections. Especially the serrations on the back are beautifully visible. The color is a beautiful black and dark blue and has a nice glow. The bourlette has a complementing darker black color. It is mostly intact with on the side some imperfections. The enamel on the front has a few very slight splits / grooves but is very smooth and shiny. The enamel on the back has no splitting and looks stunning. It runs down all the way to the root. Something that is a bit rarer with Indonesian Megalodon teeth. The color is a beautiful blueish black. The root has a grey tone. The lobes on both sides are partly missing.
