VINIFICATION The harvest occurred between August 17th until August 25th with perfect weather conditions. All grapes previously selected and partially de-stemmed were pressed in a pneumatic press and fermented at low temperatures in French oak barrels, 8% new, during 8 weeks,after which was aged for 8 months with battonage. TASTING NOTES Very seductive and elegant wine, exhibiting white flowers, lime and delicate white peach, with beautiful mineral touch. Silky texture on the palate with intense and long aftertaste. SERVING Enjoy dishes with an intense and fresh flavor such as seafood and fatty fish, hard cured cheeses, ham and fine charcuterie. Serve at 10ºC – 12ºC. HISTORY Established in 2001 by Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, both winemakers and couple, that have been investing and acquiring old vineyards and properties at Pinhão Valley. “Our goal is to create wines that express all the character of the traditional vineyards and varieties from Douro Valley.
