Blaupunkt Barcarole B520 WH – 1952/53 – Tube Radio – Very Rare! Beautiful and fully functional tube radio from Blaupunkt (Ideal-Werke AG, Berlin), model Barcarole B520 WH, built around 1952 / 1953. The radio is in very good visual and working condition, with a clean chassis and perfectly playing sound on UKW(FM). It uses the following tube lineup: EF41, ECH81, EBF80, EL41 and RL24 (germanium diode). Power supply: AC 110 / 125 / 220–240 V. Output power approx. 4 W, with an elliptical permanent-magnet loudspeaker delivering warm, rich tone. Cabinet made of real wood, well preserved with only minimal signs of age. This model features a superheterodyne reflex circuit, and like many early 1950s Blaupunkt sets, it has no galvanic mains isolation (original design). The Barcarole B520 WH is a rare collector’s piece, especially in such condition – elegant design, excellent sound, and built quality typical of Blaupunkt’s golden era.
