This Cognac from the Grande Champagne region was produced in 1918 in the commune of Juillac-le-Coq. This vintage, from the end of the First World War, was crafted by women and the elderly, as the men were at the front.
Peuchet is a trading house founded in 1885. It bottles various spirits: cognacs, armagnacs, calvados, and fruit brandies. Peuchet now belongs to the Tissandier family, who also own the renowned Lyon-based wine shop, The Whisky Lodge.
