The story of this pen begins a few years ago when one of my professors gifted it to me for my design studies and it was also one of the first in my collection. I fully disassembled it and lubricated it to its former glory from the 1960s. As you can see the nib section is fully flushed and ready to be inked again for the first time! This is a beautiful 14K gold nib Montblanc Meisterstück 22 piston pen. This outstanding pen stands out with its special "butterfly" nib, specific to a few production years in the 1960s. The vintage pen expert Peter Unbehauen considers this model to be among the best pens ever made, given the perfect balance between flexibility and alloy stability, adding the vintage design charm! The piston is smooth! According to the MB catalogues of the 60s, the nib is extra fine (E-F class) and of butterfly type. Please Note: -The pen is a piston type and doesn't need cartridges!
