An exceptional antique wooden low cabinet, crafted as a single section and fitted with fourteen drawers in varying sizes. Recently restored, cleaned, and waxed, bringing out its original character. Made from indigenous hinoki cypress, finished in a deep reddish lacquer with a beautifully matured patina. One drawer features a decorative lockplate with a chrysanthemum (kiku)–shaped knob, while five drawers retain their iron warabite-shaped bail handles. All hardware is original, including the side carrying handles. There are no keys with this piece though all drawers operate smoothly. The cabinet is in beautiful original condition with minor traces of usage.please look at the photo's for a condition reference.
