This specimen hosts several almandine crystals grouped forming a nice deep red coating on the matrix of 1.5x1 cm in size ! The crystals are up to 0.3-0.5 cm wide and show nicely on the matrix ! there are other crystals on the back of the specimen. A classic from this italian locality. Overall size is 4.5x4.5x4 cm. Nice and bright red hessonite crystals show up on this rock among cluster of clinoclore ! The crystals are well shaped and up to 0.4-0.5 cm wide. The specimen has an old label on the back.
