Original Cross of the Prisoners of the Nazi Concentration Camps ( full size) The Prisoners' Cross of Fascist Concentration Camps is a broad-shouldered Greek cross made from silver-oxidized metal. On the front side of the cross, in the central part of it, there is an equilateral triangle, turned the top downwards, with the letter «P» in the middle. The triangle is covered with red enamel and framed on the perimeter by a narrow silver border (such a sign, made of material, was embroidered on the top clothes of Poles - prisoners of fascist concentration camps and prisons). Silvered letter. On the vertical and horizontal shoulders of the cross is depicted a fragment of the umbrella fence from support columns with two insulators and five rows of barbed wire (two rows on the lower and horizontal shoulders and one on the upper). The wire ends are filled into a triangle. Between the rows of wires on the horizontal shoulders of the cross are marked dates: 1939 on the left shoulder and 1945 - on the right. On the back side of the cross is placed an inscription in four lines: PRL/ WIĘŹNIOM/ HITLEROWSKICH/ OBOZÓW KONCENTRACYJNYCH. The inscription takes hold of the upper and horizontal shoulders of the cross. All the inscriptions and images on the cross are convex relief. Cross dimensions: 42 42 mm, shoulder base 13.5 mm, triangle side 23.5 mm, letter height «P» 10 mm. The top of the cross has an eye with a ring to attach it to a ribbon.
