Since a young lad I have been interested in coin collecting in particular coins from the United Kingdom. Most of my coins have come from either the Royal Mint, Westminster Collection or the Pobjoy Mint. A small portion of my collection came from circulated coinage but since Covid that source has dried up. These days to keep myself occupied I have started with a life long interest and that is Model Railway. In my younger days I would do a bit of train spotting and I’ve always had an interest but it’s taken over 60 years for me to get my first model railway and what a great hobby this is.
