Original Yugoslav theatrical double-sided cinema poster featuring Pink Panther – Festival Humora on one side and Popeye – Podvizi Slavnoga Mornara Popaja on the reverse.

This is an authentic Yugoslav cinema-issued double-sided poster, produced exclusively for theatrical exhibition and distributed by Kinematografi Zagreb. Such double-sided Yugoslav posters are exceptionally scarce, as they were designed for economical reuse by cinemas and were almost always discarded after heavy use.

Unlike standard one-film posters, this example combines two iconic American animated properties on a single sheet — a format virtually unknown outside Yugoslavia.

The Pink Panther side features a clean, minimalist modernist design, dominated by the instantly recognizable Pink Panther figure in a relaxed, ironic pose.
The flat color fields, bold outlines, and restrained typography reflect high-quality late-1960s / early-1970s Yugoslav graphic design, favoring clarity and visual impact over busy compositions.

This interpretation differs substantially from U.S. and Western European Pink Panther posters, making it a distinct and highly collectible international variant.

Popeye – Podvizi Slavnoga Mornara Popaja

The Popeye side showcases a classic illustration-style composition, depicting Popeye and Olive Oyl in a lively nautical setting with expressive movement and narrative detail.
