Moser & Söhne - Borospohár (6) - Kristály - Borospoharak

Manufacturer: Moser, a famous Czech crystal company. Pattern: The "Lady Hamilton" design was created in the early 20th century (around 1910s) and is named after Emma Hamilton, the wife of a British diplomat. It is characterized by a unique "papal cut" and a faceted base that tapers to an extremely thin rim. Material: The glasses are hand-blown from environmentally friendly lead-free crystal, ground and polished to a high shine. Authenticity: Genuine Moser products bear the indelible Moser logo, often etched or acid-stamped on the bottom. The gold seals visible on the bottom of the glasses in the picture confirm their authenticity and connection to the seller "Kejt Starine". Popularity: This pattern was popular with royal families and diplomats around the world, including the Sultan of Morocco and the Shah of Iran. Blue oval label: Contains the words "Moser" in italics and "MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA" with the dates 1857-1962. These dates probably mark the 105th anniversary of the company's founding (1857). The company was nationalized in 1948 and merged with other glassmakers in 1962, which helps date the label to that period. Gold round label: This reads "FIRST QUALITY", indicating that the item was made to the company's highest standards. Permanent logo: Moser also permanently marks its products with an engraved or acid-etched stamp, which can be in the form of a cursive signature or monogram, depending on the period of production. These labels, although removable, often remain on collector's items as proof of authenticity Moser, wine glasses. Height: 15 cm Diameter: 8.3 cm Volume: 1.5 dcl (to the brim)
