Like a strong event that stays deep inside the human mind, human intervention accumulates in nature and keeps influencing it over time. The composition refers to an iceberg seen from above: a layered structure where the visible surface is only a small part of the whole. Cold blue and turquoise layers create a sense of ice and hidden depth, where slow and unseen processes continue. Ochre and brown tones in the lower area and along the edges point to traces of human intrusion – pollution of the ocean and environment, absorbed into the material and shaping its future. Bio. Konstantin Danilov (b. 1979, Moscow) is a painter and muralist based in Athens, Greece. A pioneer of Russia’s 1990s graffiti scene, his practice evolved toward Color Field painting, blending bold spatial compositions with psychological and emotional depth. He has exhibited at major institutions such as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, RuArts Foundation, and Burning Man x Sotheby’s (New York). His works are part of notable collections, including the STRAAT Museum (Amsterdam), Montresso Foundation, RuArts Foundation, and Sofia Trotsenko Collection. Danilov has held solo shows at Triumph Gallery, Fineart Gallery, and Reloft Art in Moscow, and has participated in international fairs such as Urban Art Fair (Paris) and Affordable Art Fair (Amsterdam). His street art projects span over 20 countries, from Hong Kong to Paris and New York. His work explores themes of emotional perception, ecological fragility, and transformation of personality and the interaction between one’s inner world and the external environment, including in the context of emigration.
