Zacapa 23 is a rum made with sugarcane honey and using a special dynamic aging system. The rums always pass through four different types of barrels during their production process. The last of these is a Pedro Ximénez barrel, the quintessential sweet wine of Jerez. Another unique characteristic of this Guatemalan rum is that it is aged at an altitude of over 2,300 meters.
The bottle is very elegant and full of quality and distinctive details, such as the wicker ribbon that encircles it, a visual hallmark of this rum.
