Macallan 1995 18 years old - 70cl
Macallan’s popular 18-year-old Sherry Oak expression matured exclusively in selected sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain. This 2013 release contains whiskies distilled in 1995 and in earlier years. The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 by local farmer Alexander Reid. What started out as a small operation with just two pot stills grew into one of the largest single malt brands on the market. Today, the distillery has a total of 36 stills. Macallan’s spirit stills, known as the Curiously Small Stills, are some of the smallest in all of Scotland.
