The use of Hahnemüle paper combined with pigment ink guarantees museum-quality workmanship, allowing it to remain unchanged over time. My work stems from patient observation of places: I wait for the light, the architectural forms and the landscape to find a subtle balance, capable of conveying more than meets the eye. In this image, Lake Como is not just a backdrop, but becomes a mental space: an invitation to calm, to silence, to that feeling of deep breathing that one experiences when standing in front of water. Enrico Camporese was born in Venice-Italy. From 1965 ti 1970 he began working as a trade union-news photojournalist , documenting the political and social events of the period. Thanks to his photographs, he occasionally collaborated with the weekly italian magazines Il Mondo and L’Espresso. In August of 1970, he decided to leave for Ireland. In Belfast he documented the outcomes of the daily conflict between Catholics and Protestants. In September of the same year, in Venice, he cofounded INTERMEDIA, an advertising agency, together with five other colleagues. In 1975 he opened his own communication agency, PubbliCA, which, later became PubbliCA & Associati. For about twenty years the agency was involved in advertising communication, collaborating and creating campaigns for Veneto companies of national and international importance. Well known brands of Murano glasswork masters rely on PubbliCA for their catalogues and advertising page.
