He has worked for names such as Knoll, Alessi, Stilnovo, Olivetti and Memphis Group.

His body of work included furniture, jewellery, glass, lighting, home objects and office machine design, as well as many buildings and interiors.
A titan of 20th-century design who founded the Memphis Group in 1981, known for challenging functionalism with bold colors and kitsch-inspired aesthetics.

He was one of the most influential architect alongside names as Le Corbusier, Mies Van Der Rohe, Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouve, Pierre Jeanneret, Wiel Arets, Eames, Eero Saarinen and Alvar Aalto.

His unconventional ideas were controversial but have now become widely recognized and appreciated.
