Don Papa Port Quincentennial is not just a rum, but a tale of discovery, adventure and craftsmanship. Matured in the unique volcanic climate of Negros Island and at the foot of Mount Kanlaon, each barrel exudes vitality, freshness, and charm. This edition is a blend of rums aged between 7 and 10 years. The rum initially rests in aromatic bourbon barrels for approximately 2 years, before completing a meticulous maturation process in fine ruby-colored Port barrels for approximately distinctive. 5 years, which give it an exotic character and DON PAP RUM OVINCENTENNIAL DON PAP The result is an intensely structured expression, with enveloping notes of licorice, spice and toffee. TASTING NOTES The nose reveals aromas of licorice, oak, dark chocolate, muscovado sugar, blood oranges, ripe red fruits, and fresh vanilla. The palate is rich, enveloping, and complex. Notes of toasted oak, cinnamon, Arabica coffee, toffee, vanilla, fresh fruit, and cane sugar are evident. The finish is long and dry, with lingering hints of bitter cocoa and dried figs.
