Here we have a beautiful late 19th Century oil on board by Scottish artist William Watt Milne 1865-1949. This antique painting features a colourful display of apple blossom trees with cattle grazing underneath. The artist was a prominent artist in the start of the British impressionist movement. The artist’s use of brushwork and colour, often vibrant and bold, is seen to great effect in this piece of art. I am just amazed how wonderful this quality painting keeps you discovering more each time you view. The painting is signed lower right W. Watt Milne and circa 1890’s.
