I am offering for auction an impressive 20th century oil on board of the steel barque Hougomont, built in 1897. Painted by artist Gilbert Geary. Signed bottom right. There is a description of the vessel verso. The painting is titled High Latitudes.
Offered with no reserve!
The painting measures 54 x 44 cm. The frame is 63 x 53 cm.
Condition of the painting is good. Please view all photos for accurate condition. Ready to hang.
Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only.
