M.C. Escher (1898-1972) - "MOSAIC II" (1957)
Author: Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972)
Title: "MOSAIC II" (1957)
Size: 55 x 65cm
Copyright: The M.C. Escher Company - Baarn - The Netherlands.
Offset print, made on 180g high-quality matt paper. Displays a vivid and sharp image quality.
Just the right size to frame. Impressive effect when framed.
Shipping in a rigid tube via certified express mail.
It is possible to collect more than one object, from the same auction, in the same shipment.
It’s a playful work: according to Escher’s site, he created the “mosaic” works originally as entertainment for his children — starting with one creature and adding more gradually to see what new animal (or guitar) would emerge at the edges of the previous shape.
