Exclusive lot with two Colombian rums from Dictador (Cartagena de Indias, founded in 1913): Dictador Platinum XO and Dictador Gold.
Both are made from virgin sugarcane honey, distilled in copper pot stills and aged using the Solera system in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry oak casks. Bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl.
Platinum XO offers a richer, more complex profile with notes of honey, dried fruit, vanilla, caramel and spices, while Dictador Gold is smoother and more approachable with vanilla, caramel and light spice notes.
