History The Omega Constellation was introduced in 1952 as the brand flagship chronometer, designed to showcase Omega precision watchmaking capabilities. In the 1960s, the line evolved with the introduction of the C-shape case, famously penned by designer Gerald Genta. This distinctive design language, characterized by its integrated lug structure and elegant proportions, became a defining look for the era. The Caliber 751 movement further elevated the model line by introducing a day-date complication while maintaining rigorous chronometer certification standards, cementing the Constellation status as a premium and highly capable daily wearer.
