The Alden Cap Toe Blucher combines the open flexibility of the classic blucher with the balanced symmetry of a straight toe cap. The construction of the attached quarters is named after the Prussian General von Blücher, whose sense of uncomplicated adaptability provided a lasting impetus to traditional shoemaking. While a simple blucher captivates with uninterrupted flowing lines, the transverse seam across the toe box brings a refined order and visual calm to the overall appearance. The present model is crafted on the traditional Aberdeen last. The upper is made of deep black Shell Cordovan from the Horween tannery in Chicago. The upper is attached via a durable Goodyear welt to a double oak leather sole, which provides an exceptionally firm stance. In the deep, silky shine of this fine horse leather and the precise joining of all elements lies a sublime tranquility that fills the object with timeless dignity from the very first glance.

Leather / Outer condition: The shoes were worn only a few times for short periods and are in an overall condition that is in parts as good as new. The upper demonstrates excellent shape retention. Heel / Sole: The sole structure corresponds to the limited wear and is in very good condition. Only slight, superficial signs of contact are visible on both the heels and the outsoles, resulting from the few short occasions they were worn.
