Vitra L’Oiseau by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Solid Maple Decorative Bird, 2011 Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra in 2011, L’Oiseau is a sculptural decorative object executed in solid maple. The underside carries the original printed identification for L’Oiseau, the Bouroullec brothers and Vitra, clearly documenting the design and manufacturer. Its value lies in the combination of an identifiable Vitra production, a documented 2011 Bouroullec design and the materially expressive solid-maple construction. L’Oiseau belongs naturally within collections of contemporary European design, Vitra objects and Bouroullec works, while its restrained profile also functions effectively as an architectural decorative object in modern interiors. The piece presents well, with the warm maple surface, clearly defined grain and original underside markings retained. It will be shipped exactly as shown in the photographs, so please examine all images carefully. Material: solid maple Dimensions: approximately 24 cm long x 15 cm high
