Veronika Obushikhina is a contemporary artist working in the genre of abstract art, living in Spain. Her work is based on minimalism and strict geometric forms, combining bright, saturated colors and contrasts. In her pieces, every line and shape matters, where simplicity and clarity of composition are the main elements. The artist strives to express the idea that true strength lies in simplicity. For her, simplicity is not a limitation, but a liberation from unnecessary complexity and distracting details. She creates a space where the viewer can focus on the core elements — form, color, contrast — and feel their purity and power.
Simplicity of form and bright colors are Veronika's way of expressing ideas with maximum strength and directness. Through concise geometric shapes and vibrant contrasts, she aims to draw attention to the essence of the work, where each element has its own meaning. Simplicity allows the viewer to easily perceive the work while also providing space for deep interpretation and personal sensations. Bright colors emphasize the dynamics, enhance the emotional response, and make the painting vivid and energetic, creating a visual force that resonates with the viewer.
Veronika has participated in several national exhibitions, and her paintings are in private collections across Europe and America, where they attract the attention of contemporary art collectors with their purity and expressiveness.

This work is about movement, rhythm, and balance. Sharp lines create a sense of direction, as if energy is concentrated at their intersections. There is no randomness here – each line is carefully placed, yet together they create dynamic motion.
Minimalism is used as a way to express the purity of form and the precision of composition, stripping away everything unnecessary. The interaction of lines generates tension: they converge and diverge, forming an internal rhythm that can be compared to architectural structures or energy flows. The painting balances between order and movement, conveying a sense of control and freedom at the same time

This work is made on canvas without stretcher, size 90*110 cm. For further framing of the painting, the wide ends are also painted in the tone of the painting and white margins are left. Total canvas dimensions 100*120 cm. The painting is coated with a satin varnish for protection  The painting is sold unframed.  The work will be sent in a cardboard tube.
