A beautifully made Islamic silver so called bukhoor, incense holder or sandalwood holder lidded pierced box, so the perfume could spread through the room.
Probably from Nizwa or Salalah.
This octagonal box is decorated with pierced flowery panels and a flower bud and petals on top.
In good condition. Normal wear, hinges ok and marked for Oman 925. Makersmark to identify.
